City Employee Review Board


The Board meets as needed for grievances and at least once yearly regarding the selection of the City's Employee of the Year.

The Board is composed of three members. Members are appointed by the City Council for three-year terms. 

The City Employee Review Board is supported by the Human Resources Department, 703-248-5127 (TTY 711).


The City Employee Review Board was established to hear appeals filed by City employees who are not satisfied with a decision by the City Manager regarding employee grievances. The City Employee Review Board also selects an "Employee of the Year" for recognition.
