Fit at the Farmers Market

Our Fit at the Farmers Market provides the community with an opportunity to be active and try a variety of fitness classes offered not only by the Recreation & Parks Department but by local fitness studios as well.    All classes are free and there is no registration required.

Saturday, April 6, 9:00 AM: WERQCome get a free WERQout – a cardio dance class based on pop and hip-hop music routines. All dance and fitness abilities welcome!

Saturday, April 13, 9:00 AM:
Essentrics Classical Stretch. This age reversing workout restores joint movement, flexibility, strength, relieves pain, increases energy, vibrancy and your immune system. All fitness abilities welcome! Please bring a yoga mat if you have one.

Saturday, April 27, 9:00 AM: Weekend WorkoutStart your weekend with an energizing workout incorporating strength and cardiovascular exercises. 

Saturday, May 4, 9:00 AM: Better Body StudioA full body conditioning workout designed to strengthen every muscle in your body, enhance stamina and improve overall flexibility.  Learn proper core technique of the abs, back, and hips that will leave you feeling stronger and better than before!   Participants with a Pilates mat, please bring it with you. Mats will be available to those without one.

Saturday, May 18, 9:00 AM: KickboxingClass will incorporate upper and lower body kickboxing techniques and routines. Participants can work at their fitness level.

Saturday, June 22, 9:00 AM: JazzerciseDance cardio with high-intensity intervals, incorporating yoga, Pilates, and strength training.

Saturday, June 29, 9:00 AM: Line Dancing: Dance class featuring step-by-step instruction that is simple and easy to memorize.
