    In-Person Programs and Conference Room Use Suspended; Group Study Rooms Restricted to 3 or Less;  Masks Required in Library

    Due to concerns about the recent increase in COVID-19 transmissions in the DC area, all in-person library programs and use of library conference rooms are suspended through January 31, 2022. Group study rooms may still be reserved, but are limited to groups of 3 or less. All visitors age 2 and over, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask in the library (and other City of Falls Church government buildings). Learn more...

RBdigital Magazines Now in Overdrive

RBdigital and Overdrive have merged! MRSPL card holders now have access to over 3,200 magazines - including poplar titles like The New Yorker, The Economist, and National Geographic - through the Library of Virginia's Overdrive collection.

  • No Library of Virginia card is required! Just search for the Library of Virginia, choose MRSPL from the list of communities, and use your MRSPL library Card info to sign in.
  • Magazines can be read using Overdrive's Libby app or in your web browser from the Library of Virginia Overdrive site. 
  • MRSPL patrons can continue to access RBdigital magazines using the RBdigital app or RBdigital website through March 31. Digital magazines will then only be available through the Library of Virginia's Overdrive collection.
