Join in the fun to make the City beautiful! Volunteers work together to clean up the City. City staff provides trash pickers, trash bags, recycling bags, gloves, and reflective vests. Perfect for community groups, church groups, families, or individuals.
City-wide litter clean ups are held every spring and fall. The spring event will be Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. and the fall event will be Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Volunteers meet in front of the community center at 10 a.m. to pick up supplies and then disperse throughout the City. The Adopt-a-Spot Program is an opportunity for residents, businesses, and civic groups to pick up litter in designated areas of the City. Call 703-248-5456 (TTY 711) for details.

Spring and Fall Community Cleanup Results:
A big thanks to all the volunteers who helped keep the City of Falls Church Clean on October 14 2017! A total of 56 volunteers participated and removed roughly 15 bags of trash and recyclables from our green spaces. Girl Scout Troop 676 is pictured below and helped make the event a success by leading the check-in table. Thanks to all our partners for making this spring and fall tradition a success!
