Aurora House welcomes individuals and groups interested in providing supplemental resources to our program under the general supervision of a qualified staff person. Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Tutoring and Academic Support
- Gardening
- Computer Skills
- House Maintenance
- Recreational Activities
- Arts and Crafts
- Baking and Cooking
Requirements
Successful completion of a background check and Child Protective Services central registry check is required for all volunteers.

Currently Seeking
- For summer 2018: individuals to lead physical activities, such as basketball, tennis, pilates, and bike riding. Experience and/or training is preferred.
- During the growing season: an experienced gardener, who could help residents learn about and take care of raised vegetable beds (and other garden areas, if interested).
- During the school year: individuals with experience teaching and/or tutoring typical high school subjects, including math, science, English, history, Spanish and French.
