Winter Homeless Shelter

Friends of Falls Church Homeless Shelter is open November 15 through March 31 only, providing relief from harsh winter weather. The shelter opens at 6 p.m. each day and closes at 8 a.m. The shelter is located at:
217 Gordon Road
Falls Church, VA 22046

Emergency Shelter Program

The City of Falls Church contracts with Fairfax County, which has six emergency shelters for individuals and families who are homeless. These shelters are operated by community nonprofit organizations under contract with Fairfax County. The shelters have additional capacity during the winter months to take in people overnight who are at risk of hypothermia.
