The IRS's Tax Form Outlets Program, which oversees tax form distribution through public libraries (like MRSPL), offers a limited number of printed forms and publications for free distribution to the public during tax season.
We have received copies of the 2019 040 Booklet but are still awaiting our shipment of 1040 Instructions.
IRS Forms and Instruction Available Free in the LIbrary
For the 2020 tax season (covering the 2019 filing year), the following items will be available (while supplies last) for free distribution here in the library:

When Will the Free Print Forms Be Available?
The IRS usually does not ship forms and publications to us until the middle or end of January. We will post on this page when the forms have been received and are available for the public to take.

Reference staff can help library patrons photocopy or print most forms, schedules, instructions, and publications from the IRS website; however, a fee of $0.15/page will be charged for each copy/print.

Virginia Tax Forms
The Commonwealth of Virginia stopped distributing free state tax products through public libraries several years ago. As a result, Mary Riley Styles Public Library is not able to provide free copies of Virginia tax forms and publications.
Reference staff can help library patrons photocopy or print most forms, instructions, and publications from the Virginia Department of Taxation website; however, a fee of $0.15/page will be charged for each copy/print.
