Schools-Related Parcels Location

What is a "Small Area Plan"?
A "Small Area Plan" defines a vision for redevelopment in a relatively small area of the City, approximately 10 blocks in size. The vision for redevelopment is sensitive to the area's history and responds to the current and future needs of the City's residents, workers, and visitors.

How can I participate?
The City's Planning Commission and Staff is hosting this kickoff to present background information and conceptual planning ideas and to receive input from the community.

Display boards will be available for viewing beginning at 8:45 a.m. A presentation will begin at 9:05 a.m.

Following the presentation, meeting participants will be asked to form "breakout" discussion groups to discuss particular topics, including:
  • Community, culture, and open space;
  • Land use, height, density, and economic development;
  • Transportation; and
  • Urban design.
Meeting Notice
Members of the Planning Commission, Economic Development Authority, and the City Council will attend this public meeting. One or more of the aforementioned groups may have a quorum present.
