City Hall Hours & Directions

City Hall is officially open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Please check with individual divisions for their hours of operation. City Hall is closed on certain holidays.  2008 Holiday Closings.
City Hall is located on the corner of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street. Access to City Hall is provided through the East Wing and West Wing side entrances. Court and City Council participants may enter through the front of the building.
Public Transit
Take the Orange Line Metro subway to the East or West Falls Church stations. Take the GEORGE bus (26 A, E, or W) and exit at the Park Avenue/Little Falls Street stop (City Hall is across the street). During off-peak midday hours, exit at the West Broad Street/Virginia Avenue stop, walk north on Virginia Avenue, turn right onto Park Avenue and walk one block. Westbound I-66
Exit at Sycamore Street, turn right onto Sycamore Street, left onto Washington Boulevard (first traffic light), left onto Lee Highway (Route 29), right onto Park Avenue and proceed to City Hall, located on the right side of the intersection of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street.
Eastbound I-66
Exit Route 7 east. Go about 1.6 miles, turn left onto Little Falls Street. City Hall is at the intersection of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street (second block on left).
Northbound Route 29
Turn left onto Park Avenue and continue two blocks to City Hall, located on the right side of the intersection of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street.
Southbound Route 29
Turn right onto Park Avenue and continue two blocks to City Hall, located on the right side of the intersection of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street.
Eastbound Route 7
Turn left onto Little Falls Street. City Hall is at the intersection of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street (second block on left).
Westbound Route 7
Turn right onto Little Falls Street, City Hall is at the intersection of Park Avenue and Little Falls Street (second block on left).
