Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)
Hears and decides appeals with alleged errors in order, requirement, decision, or determination in the administration of the zoning ordinance; grants zoning variances and has the power to grant special use permits for the use of land or construction of buildings in districts where they are prohibited. Applicants should complete the "Application for Variance, Appeal or Special Use Permit," pay the appropriate fee, and consult with the Zoning Administrator regarding submission of supporting documentation.
Meeting Schedule
Meets at 7:30 p.m. the second Thursday after the first Monday of each month in City Hall Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 300 Park Avenue. (No meeting in August.) Please refer to BZA Meeting and Agenda Cut-Off Dates.

The Board is composed of five members and one alternate who are appointed by the City Council for four-year terms.
