City Council Meetings
The City Council meets the second and fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, located in City Hall, 300 Park Avenue, with the exception of August and December when only one meeting is held.  The public is welcome to address the City Council on any topic during the public comment period.  Speakers must complete and submit a Speaker Slip, located in the rear of Chambers, and present it to the Clerk at the front left table.  The Mayor calls forward the speakers, who may address the Council for one three-minute period, which shall be enforced by the Clerk. Reports from boards, commissions, or committees may be presented as five-minute oral summaries of the written reports.

The City Council holds work sessions at 7:30 p.m. the first and third Monday of the month in the Training Center, level G of City Hall.  These meetings are open to the public and are conducted to allow Council Members to discuss upcoming legislation and policy issues, but the public is not generally invited to speak.

To be included in the e-mail distribution noticing the posting of agendas online, contact the City Clerk. Packages for regular City Council meetings are usually posted on the Thursday prior to the meeting. Minutes of City Council meetings are available electronically and in hard copy, from the City Clerk, cityclerk@fallschurchva.gov or 703-248-5014 (TTY 711).
