Business Recycling

Requirements

• Businesses or business complexes that have more than 200 employees or generate more than 100 tons of trash annually are required to establish a recycling collection system.
• Businesses must file an annual recycling report that lists types and amounts of materials recycled.

Assistance

• The City's Environmental Programs Specialist provides technical assistance to businesses in the establishment and promotion of a business recycling collection system. E-mail kallan@fallschurchva.gov or call 703-248-5176 (TTY 711).
• Businesses are encouraged to use the Falls Church Recycling Center.
