"As your elected Constitutional law enforcement officer, it is an honor to serve you, the Citizens of the City of Falls Church as your Sheriff. I thank you all for your continued support of this Office. In today's challenging times it is important that this Office conveys how we serve our City and its Citizens.

This website affords you all an opportunity to learn more about the Falls Church Sheriff's Office and the services we provide. Each and every employee of the Falls Church Sheriff's Office is committed to the highest standards of professionalism and service on behalf of the community we serve. This Office has carefully aligned its staffing and resources to insure effective law enforcement services are provided to the Citizens of the City of Falls Church. I am very proud of the Sheriff's Office employees for their dedication and commitment to our community."
It is the mission of the Falls Church Sheriff's Office to effectively perform all lawful duties in a professional and reliable manner to insure the safety of the Citizens and visitors to the City of Falls Church. The Falls Church Sheriff's Office is committed to fairly and impartially enforce the laws of the United States of America, the Commonwealth of Virginia and the ordnances of the City of Falls Church. I have established a community oriented law enforcement philosophy that is predicated upon mutual cooperation with the Falls Church Police Department and neighboring agencies that enables the community to unite in a partnership to achieve the common goal of enhancing the quality of life in our great Little City.

To accomplish the above, the Falls Church Sheriff's Office will commit its resources in partnership with the community to:

  • Maintain order and provide a secure environment for court proceedings.

Badge of Authority

The Falls Church Sheriff's Office will aspire to be leaders of and a model for all aspects of law enforcement, homeland security, court operations and fiduciary management as our Citizen's deserve nothing less.  Our Office will achieve this leadership goal through the adoption and practice of the following fundamental tents that are represented by each of the six points of our badge of authority.
