Fun with Cartooning Falls Church Community Center (223 Little Falls Street) Ages 6-12
Mondays April 9 - June 4 4:30 to 5:30 p.m (Activity #230106-D)
City Resident Fee: $120 Non-City Resident Fee: $130 Instructor: Young Rembrandts
Learning to draw can be fun, especially when we create silly characters, funny expressions and drawing sequences that tell a joke! This delightful program combines Young Rembrandts' innovative, step-by-step drawing method with light-hearted subject matter that engages children, their sense of humor, and their vivid imaginations. Aditional drawing classes for other age groups and interests are also available.
Lil Lions - Challenger Sports Falls Church Community Center (223 Little Falls Street) Ages 4-5
Wednesdays April 11 - May 30 (Activity #210906-B) 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This class helps develop simple ball skills such as kicking and dribbling with different foot surfaces and offers lots of fun and games in a structured activity setting.
Tennis 1: Adult Beginner Cavalier Trail Park (Maple Avenue and South Washington Street) Ages 18 & up
Wednesdays April 11 - May 30* (Activity #250905-B) Noon to 12:45 p.m.
City Resident Fee: $210 Non-City Resident Fee: $220 Instructor: First Serve Tennis
Players new to the game learn the fundamental strokes: forehand, backhand, volleys, and serve. Students are encouraged to repeat this class until they can consistently put the ball in play. Player-Coach ratio is 4:1. Additional tennis classes are available for other skill levels and ages.
