1. What Is the EAP?: What Is the EAP? The EAP is a free program for city employees and their families. The program provides crisis intervention, problem identification and assessment, short term problem resolution, consultation and information, referrals to outside agencies and follow up services. The program also provides support to employees on stress management, chemical dependency, sexual harassment, and diversity.

2. Who is eligible?: The EAP is available for any employee who works a minimum 20 hours per week and maintains permanent status. EAP services are also available to any member of the employee's immediate family.
