Yes, providing compliance with several conditions. There are 2 types of home-based businesses, also referred to as Home Occupations. A Minor Home Occupation is a small business or office operated out of a home and is secondary to the primary use of the property as a residence. There cannot be any display of merchandise, an increase in traffic, or employees other than family members who reside there. A Major Home Occupation is essentially a full-fledged business operated from a residence. Major Home Occupations require a Special Use Permit.
