Amy Maltese
, Teen Coordinator, began working with the Recreation & Parks Division Sept. 29. Amy moved to the Northern Virginia area from New York, where she was organizing recreation and parks festivals, farmers’ markets and sports events. Welcome to the City, Amy!

Cesar Escobar, Maintenance Worker, joined the Refuse Crew on Oct. 8. Cesar comes to the City after working for a Northern Virginia area construction company for the past three years. We are glad to have you with the City, Cesar!

Betty Michel, Customer Service Representative, began working with the Customer Service Division Oct. 14. Betty has been working in the Northern Virginia area for the past four years. We are really glad to have you with us, Betty!

Debra Gee, Planning Division, on the birth of her new grandson, Andrew Ricardo, on Election Day Nov. 4. Debra was working the polls that day and had to wait until Wednesday to see her beautiful new grandson, who weighed in at 5lbs. 6oz. Andrew and his mother, Christine, are both home and doing fine. Congratulations to you, Debra, and welcome to the world, Andrew!
