The Office of the Treasurer of the City of Falls Church is proud to announce the third annual Vehicle Decal Design Competition—a cash-prize contest for high school students. The winners will have a truly unique accomplishment to highlight on their college applications and resumes.
The first-place design will have a City of Falls Church theme and will be displayed on the windshields of more than 13,000 vehicles registered in the City of Falls Church. All designs must be original and new. Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners at a City Council meeting.
The theme for the contest is the City of Falls Church. Submit a creative, artistic and memorable design that highlights our community. All designs must be original and new. Submissions from previous years cannot be accepted. Scroll to the bottom on this webpage to see last year's top four submissions.
Designs should be JPEGs, no less than 300 DPI.
The design will measure approximately 1.5” high by 2.25” wide. Designs should be appealing at this small size.
Take into consideration that the background of the 2018-2019 decals will be yellow, as in the sample above.
The deadline for submission has been extended to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.

This contest is open to high schools students who either reside in the City of Falls Church or who go to school in the City of Falls Church. Only one entry per student, please. Submission from previous years will not be considered.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top entries.
