We’re excited to announce the new format for the Falls Church Community Center Preschool! As of July 1, 2021 the Virginia Department of Education is responsible for all licensing. All licensing requirements will remain the same.
For Fall 2021, we will be reopening our doors five days a week with seven different programs geared toward children ages 3-5. All Monday, Wednesday and Friday programs will meet once a week for 75 minutes from September-December. Our Tuesday and Thursday Kindergarten Readiness will meet twice a week for 120 minutes each day from September-December.
3-Year-Old Programs - Your child must be 3 by the first day of class. 4 & 5-Year-Old Programs - Your child must be 4 or 5 by the first day of class. Kindergarten Readiness- Your child must be 4 or 5 by the first day of class and entering Kindergarten in Fall 2022.
Our preschool program focuses on fun and positive learning experiences for 3- to 5-year-old children that will prepare students for future elementary school study. Students develop social, physical, and cognitive skills through interactive, hands-on experiences.
In order to register for any of the preschool programs, children must meet the age requirement on the first day of class. Proof of age via birth certificate and a physical and immunization report is required prior to the first day. Children must be fully potty-trained by the first day of the program.
Our qualified staff and small class ratio makes a safe program for everyone. Our program is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education.
