Public Comment Options

Learn how you can give your comments to the City Council on any topic.

  1. Sign Up to Speak at a City Council Meeting
City Council meetings are generally held the second and fourth Mondays of every month at 7:30 p.m., except during recess in August and December, and on holidays. There is a general public comment period at the beginning of each meeting. Legally-required public hearings are also held at these meetings.

The public can comment in-person or virtually through the MS Teams platform. Please sign up here. Advance registration closes at noon on the day of the meeting. On the day of the meeting, you will receive e-mailed instructions about how to join the meeting virtually, if you chose that option.

Or, attend the meeting and request a Speaker Slip before the start of the meeting from the City Clerk.
