75 Year Anniversary Scavenger Hunt Series 

  • "Find the 75" Scavenger Hunt 
  • February 5 through February 12, 2024

Celebrate the City of Falls Church's 75 Year Anniversary through the "Find the 75" Scavenger Hunt, a self-lead family-friendly game through the City.

The first clue will be posted to the City's Facebook and Instagram accounts at 10 a.m. February 5. More information about prizes can be found here!

75th Anniversary Kick-Off Event

Local, regional, and state representatives joined City Council members to kick-off the City's 75th Anniversary with the special logo reveal at the Falls Church Festival on September 24, 2023.

Flag Raising Ceremony

Proclamations and Commendation Letters

  • At the August 7, 2023 meeting, City Council presented a proclamation celebrating the 75th anniversary of the City. Read the proclamation here and watch the clip from the meeting below.
  • U.S. Senator Mark Warner wrote the City of Falls Church a commendation letter in recognition of 75 years as an independent city. The letter was presented at the kick-off event held during the Falls Church Festival. Read the letter here.
