Responsibilities
The Information Technology (IT) Division is responsible for managing the installation and maintenance of all of the systems and networks that provide computer technology and telephone services for all city departments. IT contractors, acting under the guidance of the Chief Technology Officer, ensure the city's IT environment is secure.

The city outsources the majority of its IT services. The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for administering the service contracts, acting as a resource for IT projects, and assisting city staff in strategic planning for IT needs.
