The reserve unit is comprised of sworn men and women who volunteer their services to the Falls Church Sheriff's Office and the City of Falls Church in general. The reserve unit and its deputies provide law enforcement support to all aspects of the sheriff's office including the following:

• Administrative
• Child Identification
• Civil Process
• Court Security
• Extraditions
• Prisoner Transport
• Special Events
• Traffic Control
• Traffic Enforcement

Other Duties
Reserve deputies also perform those duties and responsibilities as assigned by the sheriff. Each year thousands of hours of reserve deputy time and support are provided at no cost to the citizens of the City of Falls Church.
