Stopwatch

Each youth is who is under the formal supervision of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court is provided with a court-ordered curfew as a condition of his or her probation. To assist youth and their parents in observing these curfews, the juvenile probation staff has developed Operation Stopwatch.

This program provides curfew enforcement through random, unannounced home visits and telephone calls by probation staff. For safety purposes, the probation counselors often schedule unannounced home visits when it is possible to arrange a ride along with a city police officer.
