Book Club to Go Kits

  1. Temporary Location Closing July 10 to Begin Library Move

The library renovation and expansion project is coming to an end and the outside of the new library building is looking great! There’s still work that needs to be done on the inside including moving our entire collection into its new home and setting up public and staff spaces. Our temporary location (at 601 S. Oak St.) will close permanently and we will suspend curbside pickup service starting July 10 at 5 pm so we can begin the process of moving back into our library building at 120 N. Virginia Ave, which will re-open on Monday, August 16, at 10 am. Learn more...

Book Club to Go Kits Will Not be Available While We Are in Our Temporary Location

While we are operating out of our temporary location (601 S. Oak Street) during the construction phase of our Library Expansion & Renovation Project, we will need to place our Book Club to Go Kits in storage due to space limitations.
  • No kits will be available while we are in the temporary location.
  • After we open the renovated and expanded library in the spring/summer of 2021, we will introduced a revamped collection of Book Club to Go Kits.

Book Club to Go kits are a circulating collection of book discussion kits. Each kit:

  • Contains 10 paperback copies of a specific book.
  • Includes a binder with information about the book. This often includes discussion questions, book reviews, author information, and suggested resources on the web.
  • Circulates for 8 weeks.
