Join the City of Falls Church Habitat Restoration Team in restoring the local ecosystem in city parks. They will remove damaging invasive plants as well as plant native species that benefit our local birds, butterflies, and other pollinators. Wear closed-toed shoes, bring a mask, and dress to get dirty. 

Each event is limited to 30 people to ensure social distance. Please register online for each event at bit.ly/Fall21HRT.

• Saturday, October 16, 10:00 a.m. to noon: Cherry Hill Park (312 Park Ave.)
  Parking is located at the Community Center (223 Little Falls St.) - note that the Falls Church Farmers Market is ongoing in the City Hall parking lot. 
• Saturday, October 30, 10:00 a.m. to noon: Howard E Herman Stream Valley Park (425 Rollins St.)
  Follow the gravel path from the Rollins St. entrance across the stream to the work location. You can also enter behind Oak St. Elementary School or at a walk-in entrance near the Byron Building off West Broad St. 
• Saturday, November 6, 10:00 a.m. to noon: Cavalier Trail Park (420 S Maple Ave.)
  Parking lot and entrance is adjacent to the Aurora House.
