The 100 block of N. Virginia Ave. will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, August 24, to allow for a crane working on the library renovation and expansion project. The closure is expected to last the work week and into the work week of August 31.

Vehicles and pedestrians will not be allowed access. Patrons and employees of the businesses in that block will be granted access, but those individuals should prepare for possible delays to getting in their destinations.

The City of Falls Church Department of Public Works appreciates the community’s patience for and understanding of the inconvenience caused by this important project.
