1. When is the Stormwater Utility Fee due?

The Stormwater Utility Fee is paid in two installments at the same time as Real Estate taxes, due on June 5 and December 5 each year.

2. Is there a penalty for late payment?

Yes. A 10% late payment penalty plus interest will be applied to any Stormwater Fee not paid by the due date – the same as Real Estate taxes.

3. If I escrow my taxes, will my mortgage company pay the Stormwater Utility Fee too?

Yes. Stormwater Utility Fees are treated the same way as Real Estate taxes by your mortgage company. If you escrow your taxes, the Stormwater Utility Fee will be paid from escrow, the same as your taxes. Please contact your mortgage company for information on how this new fee will affect your escrow account.
