Falls Church Alerts is the official City of Falls Church emergency communications system that sends emergency alerts, notifications, and updates to your devices. This system enables the city to provide you with critical information in a variety of situations, including severe weather, road closures, missing persons, and neighborhood evacuations.

Alerts can be sent to your email, mobile phone, home phone, business phone--you choose how.

You can register up to ten devices. Set the priority list, and we will send the alert to your devices until you send a return confirmation. You’ll never miss an urgent alert.

Choose what alerts you receive: severe weather, police, traffic, and more.
You Choose When
Weather alerts automatically sent from the National Weather Service can be turned off during the time period you specify—like when you're asleep. All other alerts will be sent in late, off hours only in severe emergencies.
